It all started with an introduction from our dear friends, Adrienne and Trent. Taylor still laughs about Andrew’s entrance: he walked in wearing his beloved Patriots hoodie, hood up, radiating zero desire to impress anyone—Andrew in his truest form. Taylor, giving Adrienne a skeptical look across the table, was ready to write him off, until the conversation turned to dogs. When Taylor asked Andrew what type of dog he wanted, he didn't hesitate: "A Bernedoodle." Little did he know, Taylor had a sweet Bernedoodle puppy named Banksy waiting back at home. Taylor was instantly swept away, realizing Banksy was about to get a new best friend.

Soon after, the world paused, and we decided to spend the unexpected months of COVID downtime on a cross-country road trip. The three of us—Taylor, Andrew, and Banksy—packed up and spent four unforgettable months on the West Coast, enjoying the beach, the great outdoors, and each other’s company.

Taylor was sure an engagement was imminent after all the time they spent together while the world shut down—and only a short five years later, Andrew finally agreed! :) After five wonderful years of building our life, tackling new challenges, and growing together, Andrew finally asked the big question.

The wait was well worth it. Andrew popped the question during a beautiful trip to Italy, making a breathtaking backdrop for our commitment.
